We know that there are so many benefits to sport and our partnership with Her Next Play is an opportunity for our athletes to focus on areas like positive self-talk, being a part of a team, confidence, leadership and communication. Grow as a Leader session description: Girls are most effective as leaders when they can lead authentically. There are so many ways to lead. Athletes will explore the intersections of their leadership identities and learn how to tap into their leadership potential.
6:00-6:45pm: Poster Making: for those who can’t join us the Grow as a Leader session, please join us to make signs for your High School buddy or favorite player starting at 6:00pm. HGBA will provide materials to make your own poster!
6:45pm: Team Tunnel Time! Teams and coaches will make their way to the designated HGBA cheering section. Prior to the game, we will make a tunnel for the Hopkins High School players to run out on the court!
7:00pm: Tip Off! Go Hopkins!
Half-time: HGBA teams and coaches will be announced. 10k, 5k Shots and Dribbling completers will be recognized.
Post-game: On court picture with the Hopkins High School Team
HGBA Athletes should wear the HGBA provided shooting shirts.
HGBA Athletes & Coaches will get in free for this game - as a reminder, all Hopkins District kids get in free to any home game.
If you can make it at 5:00 for the full evening, please remember to sign up above in the link so that we order enough pizza. If you cannot make it until later in the evening, we look forward to seeing you when you can get there.
